What is ESOMAR?

Written by: Paul Stallard

ESOMAR stands for the European Society for Opinion and Market Research. It has been operating for nearly 70 years and stands as the global association for the research industry.

ESOMAR’s standards and regulation allow companies to produce accurate and reliable research. It also acts as a regulatory body for data protection, as its guidelines specify that no malpractice should occur with any data from any participants.

Arlington Research is entirely compliant with both ESOMAR and the equivalent UK standard from the Market Research Society (MRS). We value not only the protection of our participant’s data, but also the integrity of our research. Our aim is always to provide businesses with true, accurate and helpful research that benefits them both in the long and short term.
