Case Study: OneLogin

OneLogin brings speed and integrity to the modern enterprise with its single sign-on (SSO) and cloud identity and access (IAM) management platform. Its portfolio of solutions secures connections across all users, devices and applications; helping businesses drive new levels of integrity, operational velocity, and efficiency across all their cloud and on-premise applications.

OneLogin wanted to highlight the difference between how safe businesses believe their password protection is against the stark reality. Arlington Research surveyed more than 600 UK-based IT decision-makers with influence over their business’s IT security. Whilst 85% thought they had adequate password protection measures in place, most were found to be failing to enforce even the most basic password requirements; putting their businesses at significant risk of a data breach. Less than a third (31%) required employees to rotate passwords monthly, and a further half (52%) admitted to only requesting password rotation once a quarter.

The study allowed OneLogin to raise this important issue in the media, with the research appearing within several articles in the UK including pieces with the BBC and CBR.
